Farnsworth Group is seeking a Civil Engineer in our Champaign, IL office. In this role, you will be responsible for providing our private owners and municipal clients with cost effective, user friendly, and attractive developments.

Job Activities:

• Plan, design, complete and manage a variety of municipal and some private owner civil engineering projects from inception to completion

• Prepare and develop construction plans and documents

• Collaborate with Farnsworth Group disciplines and subconsultants

• Occasionally attend project, city staff, and board meetings

• Prepare project proposals

• Assist with business development efforts and developments of projects

• Lead and mentor junior staff

• Manage, support, and build relationships with clients and agencies

• Conduct project field observations and assessments

Specific Requirements include:

• BS or MS in Civil Engineering

• 10 or more years of experience in civil engineering field

• Professional Engineering License

Preferred Qualifications include:

• AutoCAD, Civil 3D experience

• Management, communication and organization skills

• Experience working with municipal and private clients

• Federal, state, local regulatory authorities

• Team experience with multiple ongoing projects
