Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Construction Project Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to manage various construction and installation projects up to $100M.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Review bid documents, assist with bidder solicitation activities, and document and execute changes in project scope.

  • Collaborate with the Regional Project Manager to establish project schedules and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure adherence to these plans.

  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including installation schedules, work plans, design drawings, specifications, permitting, change orders, and progress reports.

  • Promote and enforce safety and quality assurance policies, ensuring compliance with site-specific safety quality procedures and industry standards.

  • Chair weekly job meetings, prepare and submit summaries of project progress, and address any pending issues.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, responding to their issues and expectations, and providing regular updates on project status.

  • Assist in pricing and negotiating changes to the scope of work with clients and subcontractors.

  • Anticipate and address potential problems, working with clients, architects/engineers, and the Program Manager to implement corrective actions.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of job progress through reoccurring activity reports.

  • Mobilize company resources to create effective project teams and ensure quality work.

  • Act as the company representative with clients and selected subcontractors during project execution.

  • Negotiate changes to the scope of work and secure additional work with clients.

  • Monitor and report on project progress, including significant milestones and any conditions affecting project cost or schedule.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related technical/business field.

  • 5-10 years of related project management experience in the construction industry.

  • Experience managing small to medium-sized projects (up to $100M).

  • Ability to meet customer security requirements, including a background check by Federal Authorities.

  • Proven ability to perform in a lead capacity and guide multi-disciplinary project teams

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.

  • Advanced customer service skills and the ability to maintain positive client relationships.

  • Knowledge of industry practices, regulations, and standards.

  • Familiarity with CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering and construction.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Professional registration or certification (e.g., Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP)) preferred but not required.

Salary Range: $108,700.00 - $190,200.00
