Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Job Description
Ensure production machinery is functioning correctly and efficiently. Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery. Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, compressor, and vacuum systems. Have a working knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers, AC/DC motors and controls. Ability to read and understand blueprints. Assemble, install and fabricate equipment as needed (welding will be required). Ability to work with steam and boiler controls and mechanical power drives. Assist support staff to ensure inventory counts are accurate. Submit timely and accurate paperwork. Participate in Safety Reviews, Safety Training, and Safety Audits under the direction of plant management. Willingness to participate in a maintenance training program that is provided and required.
Responsibilities

Work Environment
Currently, there are 6 people on the maintenance team, with a goal to expand to 12. The overall team consists of around 120 people. The dress code includes jeans, steel-toed boots, and a t-shirt; the company provides the rest of the PPE. Shifts available are 2nd shift (3pm to 11pm, M-F) and 3rd shift (11pm to 7am, Sun-Th), with a 30 cent shift differential for both shifts. The environment is fairly clean as it involves box manufacturing, but it is not air-conditioned, so temperatures can vary significantly with the seasons.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00
