Job Description
Join our "Forever Green Project" as we complete the new UHIC campus. We are seeking up to 8 contract employees to assist with receiving and installing pre-assembled furniture. This role involves receiving incoming trucks, unboxing, transporting products to designated areas, and ensuring cleanliness.
Responsibilities
Receive trucks with pre-assembled furniture
Unbox and push products on carts to designated locations
Perform cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, wiping down surfaces, and disposing of trash
Assist with installation and delivery of furniture
Ensure attention to detail and adhere to construction guidelines
Essential Skills
Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
Capability to stand and walk for 10 hours a day
Experience with hand tools, power tools, and reading blueprints
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in general labor, assembly, mechanical installation, troubleshooting, and repair
Familiarity with material handling, packing, and warehouse operations
Forklift experience is a plus

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
