Cedar Falls Community School District Registrar/HR Assistant in Cedar Falls, Iowa

This position works directly with Parents, Administrators, Central Office Staff, and other patrons of the Cedar Falls Community School District. The Registrar is responsible for all aspects of the registration process including accurate completion of student enrollment forms, review and verification of proof of residence documentation and determination of school attendance; certified enrollment; Federal Office of Civil Rights reporting, and provides support to the Executive Assistant to the Superintendent of Schools.

This service oriented position works directly with employees at all levels of the organization as well as and members of the public responding to questions, furnishing information, and providing guidance on a wide variety of Human Resource related matters including but not limited to employment, compensation and leaves of absence. The incumbent receives primary work direction from the Human Resource Specialist and works in close coordination with Business Office functions including Benefits Administration and Payroll. The position compiles and maintains accurate employee records, inputs and maintains employment related data on multiple systems, generates reports for in District purposes as well as mandatory State and Federal compliance, provides direct day to day HR support and guidance to assigned groups of employees/departments and serves a key role in establishing positive employee and public relations.
