How will you make an impact in this role?

  • Assist the preparation of the financial trending analysis, highlighting trends, outliers, and variances to be presented during the month close review meetings according with IFRS Standard.

  • Assist the preparation and completion of financial variance commentary for distribution to senior management.

  • Ensure compliance with local financial guidelines, company policies and relevant regulations.

  • Support Manager in the completion of ongoing projects and deliverables as required.

  • Knowledge of USGAAP and local GAAPs, IFRS accounting standard is a plus.

  • Prepare MJE for approval as a normal process.

  • Own the month-end process for the ICS Opex and collaborate with LFO partners to understand market and product financial performance drivers.

  • Tax accounting following.

  • Annual tax accounting annexes filling (Dictamen Fiscal).

Minimum Qualifications

  • Accouting designation preferred (CA / CPA / CGA).

  • At least 2-3 years accounting experience.

  • Good technical accounting background and experience in accounting and reporting.

  • IFRS & US GAAP knowledge and experience.

  • Proficiency in MS-Office applications (Advance Excell skills) and Essbase/analytical software (Hive, Yellowbrick, Phyton). Working knowledge of Data Analytics.

  • Sound understanding of financial systems and processes as well as control environment.

  • Strong written and verbal English & Spanish communication skills - a must.

  • Ability to collaborate across geographies in a matrix structure and deliver on customer expectations.

  • Demonstrated integrity, innovation, teamwork, and excellence.

  • Excellent storytelling and visualization skills; and Good technical accounting background and experience in accounting and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to quickly develop sound understanding of accounting and reporting processes.

  • Capability to work and solve problems independently.

  • Ability to manage multiple time sensitive deliverables at month / quarter close.

  • Timely identification and escalation of issues.

  • Able to perform multiple tasks, work to strict deadlines and prioritize tasks.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills to identify and escalate issues for resolution.

  • Personal accountability in ensuring all tasks and activities are carried out in accordance with policy and on timely basis.

  • Collaborate with local and global teams (Affiliate management, COE, GCO, GAPA, Procurement, Businesses advisory, LOBs, GSG and Staff) to ensure financial information is supported by agreements & invoices.
