MetLife HR Intelligence & Program Specialist in Cary, North Carolina

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Intelligence & Program Specialist to provide essential support to our HR Business Partners (HRBPs) in driving data-informed talent strategies and next-generation HR initiatives. This role is critical in managing day-to-day HR operations, administrative tasks, and process coordination.

The ideal candidate is proactive, solutions-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring HR processes run smoothly. Experience and focus on data analysis, process improvement and collaboration on strategic HR projects will be key to drive efficiency and innovation. The ideal candidate will be detailed oriented, proactive, and passionate about leveraging data and technology to enhance the employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide operational and administrative support to HRBPs, ensuring seamless execution of HR processes.

  • Act as a liaison with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) and the HR Support Center to resolve employee and HR inquiries.

  • Review and analyze workforce data and market trends to provide strategic insights.

  • Participate in the ideation and execution of HR key initiatives within the partner teams.

  • Support workforce planning and maintain HR systems, ensuring timely updates of employee records, job changes, and organizational structures.

  • Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and materials for HR meetings and leadership discussions.

  • Manage and coordinate HR initiatives, including performance reviews, engagement surveys, and talent discussions.

  • Monitor and improve administrative workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management and follow-through.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to anticipate HR team needs.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across HR functions.

  • Experience in an HR support, HR coordinator, or similar administrative role preferred.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field preferred but not required with relevant experience.

  • Three or more years of experience in an HR operations, HR coordinator, or administrative support role.

  • Experience with HRIS systems and reporting tools is a plus.
