Meadowbrook Terrace– LPN – Full Time Night Shift- 6:30p-6:30a (Req 7252)
Plans and implements the medication management and coordinates nursing care of residents within the assisted living setting with the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsible for ensuring continuity of care of the residents between shifts by providing direct care as well as supervising the care given by PCA/HHAs and supportive staff members. Participates in resident and family teaching. Maintains role as resident advocate with a focus on the facility’s mission. Responsible for management of assigned school based practices, their staff and office operations.
Job Summary
Requirements:
Valid NYS LPN Licensure - required
Current AHA BLS Certification
Current AHA First Aide Certification
Choking Rescue Training (Heimlich Maneuver)
High School Diploma or GED
Basic computer knowledge
Must have the ability to read, write and follow oral/written instructions in English, document care given, record messages, keep simple records and speak the predominant language of the resident
