Aston Carter Accounting Manager in Cartersville, Georgia

We are currently hiring an Accounting Manager in the greater Kennesaw area!

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting and Analysis - Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting - Develop, manage, and monitor the company’s budget and financial forecasts.

  • Accounting Operations - Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.

  • Internal Controls and Compliance - Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.

  • Financial Strategy and Planning - Develop and implement financial strategies that support business objectives and growth.

  • Team Leadership and Development - Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

  • Financial Systems and Processes - Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and software.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; construction industry experience is preferred.

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting and financial management, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems (e.g., Computerease, Plexis, Excel).

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with an attention to detail.

  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing teams.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
