Chart Industries Project Manager in Cartagena, Spain

The Big Picture

Howden Spain (HES) designs, manufactures and supplies air and gas handling equipment such as industrial fans, process gas compressors and rotary heat exchangers. Our products have made a valuable difference for our clients, and we are now looking for Project Manager who will join our team and assist us in making a valuable difference.

As a Project manager, you will participate in the coordination of contracts execution for the successful completion of the projects, developing the necessary tools for its management, control and reporting, and communicating with customers and the different areas of the company.

What Needs To Be Done?

  • Real and strong verbal and written communication skills in English & Spanish are necessary. Knowledge of French will be positively appreciated.

  • Manage, plan and control the resources assigned to them (people, equipment, and materials according to a budget and an established date).

  • Analyse, foresee and monitor the processes of the orders placed by customers and suppliers.

  • Inform the client and Howden Spain about the progress of work and its execution using regular reports.

  • Coordinate with the Financial Department for economic control and forecasts, as well as billing customers and suppliers.

  • Manage customer requests, ensuring alignment with contractual commitments and deliverables.

  • Draft action plans and technical/commercial proposals through negotiation processes during the execution of the project.

  • Make technical and economic decisions necessary for the correct development and optimization of the project.

What Do You Need To Bring?

Essential skills, knowledge & behaviours

  • Degree qualified.

  • Ability to get familiar with technical knowledge of Axial, Centrifugal Fans and Rotary Heat Exchangers and their constituent component parts and functions.

  • 3 years minimum experienced in managing multiple projects from conception to closure.

  • Foresighted, flexible and adaptable to different work circumstances.

  • Reliable and accurate about the assessments and evaluations of the work progress and costs.

  • Leadership and coordination of human teams. Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear concise information/instruction, either verbal or written to all business levels.

  • Capable of making a relationship with customers and communicate effectively the requirements of the work.

  • Dedication and willingness to adopt work schedules according to the needs and the places where the contract occurs.

  • Computer literacy, with good knowledge on using MS Office applications, including MS Project.

Desirable skills, knowledge & behaviours

  • Capable of working under pressure.

  • Proactive.

  • High level of experience in data analysis.

  • High level of computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office applications.

  • Capability to inspire and coach the team members.
