Humana Senior Change Management Professional in Carson City, Nevada

We’re looking for a proactive and strategic Senior Organization Effectiveness Professional to develop, implement, and manage change plans for our sales team.

As business products and strategies evolve this role will ensure our sales team is able to quickly adapt by focusing on the people side of change. This role will use change assessments to identify the impact a change will have on an associate and the way they work. They will then design and develop a comprehensive change plan that anticipates and cares for the needs of associates and leaders. Throughout the change initiative this role may develop or manage communications, change resistance plans, support project management, coordinate resources, drive consensus, track progress, and provide reports or updates to stakeholders. As a natural change agent and champion, the Training team will serve as a key stakeholder and internal customer for this role. Together, the Senior Organization Effectiveness Professional and Training team will ensure the training strategy and timeline is coordinated with other change efforts to ensure our sales team has the knowledge, skill, and capabilities they need to adapt and thrive.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a passion for continuous improvement, strong project management expertise, and a proven track record of successfully navigating business transitions and transformations. This role will work in a small team within a larger organization effectiveness and strategy team and will be expected to independently drive their own work while bringing recommendations to leaders to further advance our programs and practices. They will influence department strategy, make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding their projects, and exercise considerable latitude in determining the objectives and best approaches in their assignments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies to maximize adoption of change

  • Design processes as needed to enable the work

  • Work all stages of a change, from planning to implementation and reinforcement

  • Identify possible risks and develop a risk mitigation plan

  • Develop a strategy to address change resistance

  • Create change communications

  • Coordinate and manage collaboration between cross-functional teams

  • Lead meetings and conversations among stakeholders

  • Measure adoption and change success measures

  • Cultivate and nurture a change-ready culture

  • Partner with sales leadership, HR, and other stakeholders to identify needs and priorities.

  • Ensure change programs align with organizational goals and sales strategies.

  • Plan, schedule, and manage multiple change mgmt. projects or programs simultaneously.

  • Coordinate with leaders, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure successful program delivery.

  • Establish metrics to evaluate the impact of change management efforts on utilization, performance and business outcomes.

  • Collect feedback and continuously improve programs to address evolving business needs.

  • Create regular reports to share insights and recommendations with leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of experience in program management, managing or leading change

  • A solid understanding of how people process and experience change

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.

  • Ability to make decisions and make progress in ambiguous situations

  • Change management certification (https://www.prosci.com/solutions/training-programs/change-management-certification-program) or willingness to obtain within 60 days (company-reimbursed)

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to clearly articulate complex messages in a simple manner

  • Strong problem solving and strategic thinking skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Change Management, or related field

  • Prosci Certified Change Practitioner

  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Agile) or training (e.g., CPTD) is desirable.

  • Strong knowledge of sales processes, methodologies, and tools (e.g., CRM software).

  • Experience in a sales, healthcare, or insurance organization

  • Experience with instructional design and training technologies is a plus.

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$78,400 - $107,800 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
