Job Purpose/Overview

The Technical Product Manager & Fluoroscopy Modalities will be responsible for assisting Sales Leadership Team with the development and execution of the CT and Flouro market growth and sales targets. This is an individual contributor role acting as a conduit between field sales and Sound Imaging HQ to serve as the subject matter expert in the sale of CT and Flouro product lines to ensure the field team meets their sales targets in both revenue and discount control.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Liaison between Sales Imaging Teams and Sound headquarter as it relates to the sales and installation of emerging technology products.

  • Establish yourself as the subject matter expert and segment leader for CT & Fluoroscopy.

  • Manage product evaluations, validations, updates and placement strategy in conjunction with sales and marketing stakeholders.

  • Work with cross segment teams to drive Marketing messaging, Sales Enablement campaigns, Product Development resources, Purchasing etc.

  • Collaboration with Sound leadership, finance and Salesforce administrator to ensure optimal pricing, discounting and margins are aligned with annual OP and are being attained

  • Collaborate with Education and Content creation efforts to enhance training and implementation programs to accelerate the sales cycle and overall customer success.

  • Participate in Quarterly Sales meetings – will require travel to Sound HQ or alternative locations.

  • Engage the Equipment Sales team for pipeline oversight, forecast reporting and accuracy and sales cost timing.

  • Maintain Timely quoting (as needed) for Mars Veterinary Health hospitals.

  • Identify and develop the segment KOL Champions and installed base VOC programs.

  • Assist in On-boarding new Equipment Sales Associates and also involved in scripting out On-Boarding process.

  • Attend major tradeshows; VMX, WVC, ACVIM, & RSNA as part of the SOUND product team

  • Expense control will be expected (timeliness of expense reports, at or under expense budget)

  • Facilitate sales training and message communication to assist Equipment Sales team members in achieving Sales targets

  • Aptitude in computer programs to manage daily business activities and communication through Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite programs.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 5+ years tenure in Diagnostic Imaging sales experience to include CT & Flouro

  • Veterinary experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Consistent satisfactory performance in accordance with annual sales objectives

  • Demonstrates consistent ability to balance the company objectives while meeting the customer expectations of support

  • Demonstrates a leadership role among the field sales organization in sales performance, sales messaging, market and product knowledge / positioning.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with timely follow up and response times

  • High-level ability to multi-task, make calculated & timely decisions and meet fluid business objectives.

  • Responsive and professional when dealing with complex and / or sensitive customer issues.

  • Ability to work in a flexible environment with demanding schedules.

  • Considerate of the company objectives and reasonable expectations of the customer in drafting resolution decisions.

Travel

Working Conditions

The associate is regularly required to apply manual dexterity, including hand/wrist flexibility, for computer keyboarding. The associate frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is frequently required to hear and speak in order to use the telephone, make presentations and communicate with people in an office environment. The associate is occasionally required to sit and stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch. The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.

The associate will primarily work in a typical office environment including use of cubicles, computers and overhead lighting. Temperature extremes will be minimal to nonexistent. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The associate will be required to use a computer, spreadsheets, data base management, email, and the Internet. The associate is frequently required to use a calculator; fax, copy machine, and phone system. The associate must occasionally use media equipment such as an overhead projector, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.

The Target Pay Range for this position is $115,000 - $130,000 annually . At Mars, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.
