How will you make an impact?

We are looking for an experienced data/digital analyst to go beyond data extraction, reporting and dashboards. This analyst knows reports and data nuances are important, but it's the deep analysis and curation of the full story you find exciting. You're versed in business and marketing analytics best practices and strategies, allowing you to turn a complex analysis into a digestible and actionable story. Astute at simplifying the complex is a necessary skill in this role. You're comfortable diving into the data, questioning results, troubleshooting, enhancing, curating and being creative with data. You're an analyst and a storyteller at heart, and you will work on various projects and communicate with different stakeholders to gain valuable business context. Your data sets will be diverse - at times complex and unstructured - but your unique viewpoints, experience, and teammates will keep you grounded and help you navigate. The data will range in systems from numerous sources (including, but not limited to, digital, offline, sales, revenue, loyalty, BI, CRM).

Curiosity, critical-thinking, and persistence are key in this role. Self-assessment and a continual growth mindset are mandatory, as the analytics field constantly changes (i.e. search engine algorithms, social media, new tools and methods, etc.). You also enjoy sharing your knowledge via brainstorming, guidance or documentation of best practices from analytics perspectives. You strive for efficient, quality work and continual enhancements; but you also know that perfection is the enemy of good and are comfortable supplying insights and recommendations with 80% complete/directional data.

What will you do?

  • Versed in business and marketing analytics best practices and strategies with clear, documentable perspectives and rational

  • Enable stakeholders through documentation of techniques, best practices, conducting training sessions, etc.

  • Refined ability to turn complex data and analysis into a digestible and actionable story

  • Strength at parsing through mountains of data knowing what rabbit holes to go down and which to avoid in order to pull out the notable/actionable insights

  • Problem solve, troubleshoot, and identify data gaps to efficiently address business questions

  • Excellent ability to see the big picture and scrutinize the data for true analyzation with clean visualizations

  • Strong graphics and visualization aesthetics to convey message simply and impactfully

  • Strong knowledge with data capture, retrieval, cleansing, troubleshooting for purposes of developing analyses & ensuring data integrity

  • Assess and improve efficiencies to permit time for proactive support and insights

  • Skilled at data wrangling and working with nuanced/unstructured data

  • Generate recurring and ad hoc reporting to help business units and campaigns assess health and performance

  • Create, validate, and refine methodologies to determine ROI of various marketing efforts

  • Collaborate and foster strong lasting relationships between analytics and partners (marketers, executives, cross-divisional)

  • Work on continual self-education to improve techniques and advance our team's analytics strategy

How will you get there?

  • Bachelor's degree or above required

  • 5+ years of analytics experience required: web, digital media, BI, CRM, etc.

  • Advanced MS Excel & PPT

  • Adobe Analytics (preferred, but similar accepted)

  • PowerBI (preferred, but similar accepted)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Marketing and Business experience (Knowledge of marketing strategies/analytics)

  • Statistics and data science familiarity/interest

  • Experience working in a large corporation within a matrix organizational structure
