Description
We are seeking a talented Collections Specialist to play a pivotal role in managing accounts receivable and ensuring timely payment from customers. Key Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of accounts and follow up on overdue payments.
Contact customers via phone, email, and mail to resolve outstanding balances.
Negotiate payment plans and settlements with delinquent accounts when necessary.
Update customer records and maintain accurate collections notes.
Work closely with internal teams to address customer inquiries and resolve billing disputes.
Analyze aging reports and identify trends to improve collection processes.
Prepare and distribute collection reports to management on a regular basis.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures as needed
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in collections or accounts receivable.
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile to achieve results.
