Ministry Support (Diakon Lutheran Social Ministries) Activities Assistant in Carlisle, Pennsylvania
Category/Shift/Hours per 2 week pay period: Full Time / Day Shift / 80 hours per pay period

General Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assisting with the presentation of daily activities and special events.
- Maintains the resident's medical records for activities as assigned and records resident's participation and attendance at activity programs.
- Plans outings, schedules trips and arranges transportation; transports and escorts residents, as required.
Education/Training: A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent skills.
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year's experience normally required; prior experience in an interdisciplinary setting with creative programming for adult population preferred.
ADA: Ability to sit, stand, lift, bend, reach, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs.; visual and auditory skills.
