The Workplace and Collaboration Consultant plays a pivotal role in delivering consulting services centered around workplace and collaboration solutions. This role involves advising clients on strategies and solutions to optimize their workplace environments, enhance collaboration, and streamline business processes. The Workplace and Collaboration Consultant is instrumental in driving business growth in the workplace and collaboration domain, harnessing expert knowledge, and utilizing effective delivery methods.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Subject Matter Expertise: Provide deep expertise in Microsoft 365 and collaboration solutions and support sales teams for qualification.

  • Consultative Selling: Apply consultative selling techniques to craft compelling value propositions for each client opportunity.

  • Customer Analysis: Analyze and qualify customer requests related to workplace and collaboration needs.

  • Solution Assessment: Assess the current state of a client's workplace and collaboration environment, identifying opportunities for improvement.

  • Managed Services: Collaborate with global presales teams, subject matter experts, and architects to develop tailored managed services offerings in the context of managed cloud and application management.

  • Solution Design: Design and recommend unified communication solutions that align with clients' business objectives, encompassing VoIP, video conferencing, instant messaging, and collaboration tools.

  • Proposal Development: Create client-specific proposal documents that align with customer requirements and opportunities.

  • Workshops: Participate in customer discovery and due diligence workshops during the bid process.

  • Customer Presentations: Conduct proposal presentations to clients, showcasing the recommended workplace and collaboration solutions.

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

  • Profound understanding of M365 product portfolios.

  • Proven experience in presales and/or business development.

  • Good understanding of VoIP, SIP, video conferencing, and collaboration tools.

  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

  • Planning, organizing and time management skills

  • Prior experience in consulting, presales or sales roles with a strong grasp of IT infrastructure, cloud services, and workplace and collaboration solutions.

  • A sales-oriented mindset with a focus on identifying, developing, and nurturing relationships at the senior executive and CxO levels.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Degree in relevant field

  • Microsoft M365 Fundamentals

  • Other certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus.

  • Language: English mandatory, French is an asset.

Required Experience:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a Consulting or Pre-sales position in Collaboration.

  • Seasoned demonstrable experience in a similar role within a large scale (preferably multi- national) technology services environment.

  • Seasoned demonstrable level of expertise coupled with consulting and client engagement experience, demonstrating good experience in client needs assessment and change management.

  • Ability to act as a trusted advisor.
