SCCAA Finance Director Job Summary: The Finance Director is responsible for providing strategic leadership of the Finance Department through the application of strategic fiscal knowledge and analytical skills for management of the organization's fiscal processes and data systems to support the delivery of high-quality programming.  The Finance Director shall provide onsite oversight of the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department, providing technical support to all departments on fiscal matters.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting, with at least ten years of demonstrated experience in Community Action Agency or non-profit, public or governmental accounting department, with Master's in Finance or MBA preferred.  Ability to provide competent leadership through planning, foresight and follow-up. Excellent managerial skills and ability to evaluate staff performance; Excellent project management and time management skills; Exceptional analytical abilities; Excellent verbal and written communication; Experience with multi-funded grant operations; proficient with accounting software and standard office and accounting equipment.  Demonstrated working knowledge and experience with federal and state regulations.

Competencies/Knowledge/Skills and Abilities: Integrity and trustworthy, critical thinker, functional knowledge of accounting; Direct experience in multi-funded accounting and budgeting principles with federal, state and local funding source regulations; Budgetary control, Management and supervisory experience.
