Position Description/Minimum Qualifications * Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Vice President / Investment Executive, performs a variety of duties to provide services to the Bank\'s Investment Executives, Sales Assistant and B.O.C. Financial Services clients, in conformance with established policy and operating procedures. Accountabilities/Responsibilities: 1. Represents the B.O.C. Financial Services and Bank of Canton in a professional, courteous manner to all customers, associates, vendors, and the public. Assists the department and the bank in meeting goals of sales and service by providing the highest level of customer service, through an ongoing commitment to improvement in knowledge, productivity and job efficiency. 2. Provides exceptional customer service within established policies and guidelines. Makes referrals (Bank of Canton) to CSR, Assistant Branch Manager or Branch Manager as well as (B.O.C. Financial Services) to Investment Executives, as appropriate. 3. Respond to phone calls, check voice mails and take messages or address any and all requests and issues. 4. Review mail daily and distribute, handling correspondence that does not require a dictated response. 5. Prioritize, transcribe, edit and prepare correspondence for distribution both within and outside of the bank. Maintain and update correspondence files. 6. Files customer documents. Maintains department files for B.O.C. Financial Services, ensuring that said files remain up to date at all times. 7. Within scope of knowledge, assists customers with resolution of transaction issues regarding their accounts. May refer customer to superior or other bank department as required. 8. Performs routine clerical and background duties as assigned or requested. 9. Performs any and all duties required to achieve successful bank and departmental performance. Minimum qualifications at entry: Education/Experience: - A high school diploma required. Six to twelve months customer contact experience required. Competencies: - Strong attention to detail. - Excellent verbal communication skills. - Strong customer and results orientation. - Ability to be an effective team member. - Ability to adapt to progressive change - Assumes additional responsibility with enthusiasm. - Initiates suggestions to superiors or peers. - Ability to effectively use computer systems. - Ability to interact at all levels and across diverse cultures.
