Need 37 full time, temporary, seasonal Agricultural Equipment Operators to work in Cannon Falls, MN and Kasson, MN. From: 02/15/2023 to 12/15/2023 Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon. - Sat. 8 hrs./day As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here, at his sole discretion. JOB DUTIES: Perform general farm operations and tasks like but not limited to: tilling the ground; applying pesticides, herbicides and fertilizer to crops; drive and operate combine, sprayer, tractor, 90 ft. and 60 ft. planters; repair structures, equipment and fences; maintain and service all farm equipment; participate in irrigation activities; load and unload trucks and farming vehicles; work with hand tools in the field and workshop; perform post harvest duties. List of equipment: JD combine S790, JD track tractors - 8345, 8270, 9570, 9520, 8320, 8370, - JD planter - R4038 sprayer. Crops: Corn and Soybeans. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 3 months experience; able to lift 60 lbs.; able to obtain driver's license within 30 days of hire; No High School Diploma/GED required; random drug screening post hire at employer's expense, failure to pass will result in termination of employment. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $14.00 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
