Molitor Brothers Farm Ag. Equipment Operator in Cannon Falls, Minnesota

Need 37 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag. Equipment Operators to work in Cannon Falls, MN and Kasson, MN. From: 02/15/2024 to 12/15/2024 Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon. - Sat. 8 hrs./day, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The hours may vary during different times of the crop season. Salary: $3,600.00/month ($900.00/week). Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here, at his sole discretion. JOB DUTIES: Workers will perform general farm operations and tasks like but not limited to - till the ground, apply pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers to crops, participate and maintain and harvest crops. Drive truck to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers. Drive and operate a combine, sprayer, tractors, & 90 & 60 ft planter. Maintain structures, equipment, and fences, Incidental repair to farm machinery. Participate in irrigation activities, load and unload trucks and farming vehicles, work with hand tools in the field and workshop, perform post-harvest duties. Crops: Corn, Soybeans JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 3 months experience. Able to lift and carry items weighing up to 60 lbs. Able to obtain driver's license within 30 days of hire. No High School Diploma/GED required. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employer's expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the presence of children on the farm and expensive tools and equipment. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
