The Role

KBR is seeking a Project Scheduler to join our Aerospace MSP Program. This is an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Project Scheduler to join a supportive team of professionals in a defence environment. As the Project Scheduler, you will work alongside other experienced project managers and stakeholders to ensures the development and completion of the project progress and milestones through scheduling. Key responsibilities will include, forecasting, performing scheduling analysis and identifying project development needs. You will also be required to use your experience and problem-solving skills to develop and improve processes. You will partner with stakeholders to provide advice whilst contributing to the proactive development of the project by implementing and communicating initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Revise and update where necessary the Open Plan Professional (OPP) Project and Contract Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) so that they are in-line with appropriate industry standards including DEF (AUST) 5664

  2. Assist in the development and maintenance of CASG project Integrated Master Schedules across multiple Projects.

  3. Preparation of schedule reports (including cartoon schedules) for estimates (bi-annually) and reporting meetings (PPRIP; HoG; Project Performance Review; and MPGR monthly meetings).

  4. Identification of potential risks, issues and opportunities in regards to project schedules

  5. Mentoring advice and assistance to CASG project management personnel in relation to the use of current industry best practice schedule tools and project schedule reporting methodologies.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Demonstrated competence and experience as per skill level 3 Advanced Practitioner or above (Essential);

    • Demonstrated competence and experience in using the Open Plan Professional (OPP) tool (Essential);
  • Experience developing, maintaining and reporting on CASG schedules (Desirable);

  • Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate an ability to meet demanding milestones (Desirable);

  • AU Working rights and Security Clearance required.
