Job Title: Construction Laborer

Job Description

Laborers will work with skilled craft workers using hand and power tools including tape measures, levels, and hammers. They will help pour concrete, assist with building forms, along with general site organization and clean up, such as moving materials on the jobsite.

Responsibilities

  • Work with skilled craft workers using hand and power tools.

  • Assist in pouring concrete and building forms.

  • General site organization and cleanup.

  • Move materials on the jobsite.

Essential Skills

  • Consistent job history and tenure with employers.

  • Ability to lift 50lbs on a repeated basis.

  • Comfortable working at heights (up to 40 feet on full scaffolding platforms, harnesses included).

  • General labor experience.

  • Experience with hand tools.

  • Carpentry skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in construction, manufacturing, warehouse, concrete, cement, forklift operation, and assembly.

Work Environment

We are the top mason contractor in NYS, specializing in anything related to concrete and new commercial building construction. Candidates will report to the jobsite on a daily basis. Our company culture is highly involved and hands-on, ensuring employees are treated well, safe, and consistently trained. The team currently consists of 20 workers in the field, with plans to scale up to over 40 employees. The work hours are Monday-Friday, 7 AM - 3:30 PM, with occasional Saturdays.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Canandaigua, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
