The Opportunity:

As a CACI Personnel Management Specialist, you will provide human resource and personnel management support to the INDOPACOM J0 Directorate/staff. You will be responsible for managing military and civilian manpower and personnel requirements, providing information and assistance on personnel actions, and performing various tasks related to human resources, training, and awards management.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain active duty and reserve military personnel and manpower staffing plans, making adjustments and edits as changes are determined by government

  • Process all personnel actions through Service Now or through J1 directorate.

  • Provide advice and assistance to the J0 staff on personnel actions, organizational structure, and hiring actions.

  • Coordinate with civilian personnel staff on personnel actions, including recruitments, resignations, status of performance appraisals, classification standards, pay status and awards.

  • Track Directorate personnel actions for Active Duty, Civilian, Guard/Reserve, and contractor personnel.

  • Develop concepts for modifying directorate organizational structures to meet emerging mission requirements.

  • Coordinate discussion points to address J0 staff requirements for the Joint Manpower Validation Process (JMVP) and Joint Manpower Validation Board (JMVB) process.

  • Maintain the J0 Directorate’s Joint Table of Distribution (JTD), and Joint Table of Mobilization Distribution (JTMD), ensuring updates or changes are incorporated monthly.

  • Identify developmental and training needs of employees, coordinating with staff supervisors for course information and dates. Conduct market research with various agencies or on-line search for available courses that can satisfy employees training needs and interest. Track mandatory training and provide status reports on a quarterly basis.

  • Coordinate the submission of awards, decorations, and evaluations for military and civilian personnel. Assist in the review of awards, for format, preparing award nomination packages, and tracking of award submissions.

Qualifications:

  • Secret Clearance

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

  • 3-5 years’ experience conducting DoD personnel management

Desired:

  • Experience working in the INDOPACOM J0

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$49,500 - $101,300
