We currently have a vacancy for a Full-Time Service Technician at our Cambridge Location.

You will be eligible for an additional commission based on performance!

The Service Technician will be responsible for providing support and solutions for a wide range of technical issues. The incumbent must be well-versed in computer software and systems as well as PC hardware and common peripheral devices. They will possess excellent problem solving ability and demonstrate a high level of customer service and professionalism in dealing with clients.


  • Identifying system failures or bugs and provide solutions to restore functionality

  • Troubleshoot issues related to hardware, operating systems and applications

  • Install and configure software and drivers

  • Repair and upgrade hardware and software for PC systems

  • Offer technical support and educate clients to prevent similar issues

  • Maintain housekeeping standards

Qualifications/Key Competencies:

  • 1 year of relevant computer repair experience in a retail environment preferred

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • A+ Certificate preferred

  • Extensive knowledge of computer parts and accessories

  • Extensive working knowledge of:

  • Microsoft operating systems

  • PC Hardware

  • Common peripheral devices such as printers, scanners, internet routers etc.

  • TCP/IP networking

  • Internet technologies

  • Common office applications

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Willingness to work flexible shifts which includes days, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
