MID OHIO VALLEY EMPLOYMENT LLC CNC Machinist in Cambridge, Ohio
Mid-Ohio Valley Employment (MOVE) is looking to hire a Machinist! This full-time position pays between $16-$26 an hour. Machinists can expect to work with both software and hardware, conduct tests and inspections of products, services, and software systems, and repair faulty programs and machinery. The perfect candidate will have excellent computer and interpersonal communication skills, physical stamina and a keen interest in production and processing. The perfect candidate will also engage in creative and perceptive detail oriented active learning. They must also possess exceptional critical thinking, time management and communication skills, as well as posse4ss the ability to handle complex machines and tools.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Setting up, programming and operating CNC Mills
- Using general machine shop equipment
- Work directly from CAD files and prints
- Decision-making, self-initiative and the ability to complete tasks on time
- Working with engineers and others to meet deadlines
- Communicating clearly with co-workers from shift to shift
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma/GED required
- At least 3 years CNC Mill experience
- Experience with HAAS, Fanuc and Heidenhaim controls preferred
- Experience with 5-axis machining is a plus
- Availability to work overtime as required
