Job Description:
Follow all safety policies (LOTO, safe knife handling, safe lifting techniques, safe chemical handling)
Wears all PPE as required by task being performed
Follows all quality policies & procedures (safe material handling, lot traceability)
Will be GMP compliant at all times on production floor
Safely operate forklift while lifting product to platform
Compare actual product specs vs documented spec sheet for alignment
Make sure all paperwork is filled out completely in a neat/orderly fashion and turned in to the supervisor
Must be able to document lot #’s to batch sheets for ingredients weighed out by batcher
Match all ingredients to the batch sheet and verify that all lot numbers are recorded before mixing ingredients
Follow instructions on batch sheet to ensure ingredients are batched accordingly, and record all times
Must ensure consistent and accurate measurements and blending to ensure continuous product supply to filling equipment.
Testing of chemical concentrations and be able to tear down and wash the processing and batching tanks and associated equipment
Test the quality of product to ensure it in within specifications, if not in spec notify your supervisor immediately
Operation of blenders and PLC controlled agitation and transfer after the product has been released by QA
Batcher must have QA approve and sign off on paperwork
Responsible for daily cleaning of equipment including CIP of all tanks and maintain good housekeeping throughout the area at all times
Perform other duties as assigned
Stay in your work area until your relief arrives
Notify your supervisor or lead if you need to leave your work area
Train and develop personnel
Review paper work and SAP scans for accuracy
