Description
Eliot's Developmental Disabilities division is currently seeking an experienced candidate for Independent Support Companion. The ideal person will be accommodated live-in rent free apartment to provide assistance to an independent adult client in Cambridge.
Eliot’s Developmental Disabilities Division is a CARF accredited, individual-centered continuum of services that provides innovative and high quality programming to adults with developmental disabilities. The programs offer support and opportunities for individuals to enrich their lives, obtain housing and employment, develop personal skills and competencies, and enjoy a full range of community activities while developing a network of caring relationships.
Responsibilities :
Provide companionship to an adult individual who is independent but need someone for a live-in.
Develop and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with the individual, and providers.
Keeping home safe and assisting with meal preparation.
Providing encouragement and positive companionship.
Ensure all relevant information is both communicated and documented to ensure quality of service.
Schedule: Support is needed mostly evening and night hours and you are free to work a different job during day.

Respite breaks when needed
You will be getting a stipend fee of $125 per week.
