Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Salary Range: $120K - $150K/year

Location: Camarillo, CA 93012

Summary:

Lead the manufacturing engineering team, providing technical support, implementing process improvements, and transitioning new products into manufacturing.

Position Duties:

  • Coordinate and prioritize team activities

  • Manage plant productivity projects

  • Set annual goals and conduct reviews

  • Develop and report KPIs

  • Provide technical support on the floor

  • Create and maintain routers, work instructions, and MPS

  • Identify and implement process improvements

  • Evaluate defects and implement corrective actions

  • Manage a team of 3+ direct reports

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering

  • 8+ years in Aerospace manufacturing

  • 2+ years managing teams

  • Strong project management and time management skills

  • Proficient in reading manufacturing drawings and electrical schematics

  • Experienced in FMEA, A3, Fishbone, RCCA methods

  • Skilled in GD&T and Solidworks

  • Familiar with ISO, AS 9100, ITAR, DFAR

  • Proficient in MS Office and MRP/ERP environments

  • Excellent communication skills

  • High moral and ethical conduct

  • Restricted to U.S. persons due to export-controlled technology

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly stand, use hands, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, climb, balance

  • Occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.

Pay Details: $120,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year
