Lamers currently has full time and part time Motor Coach openings in our Coach Division. Lamers is a family owned transportation company with over 45 terminals. Lamers was founded in 1944. Lamers is one of the largest passenger transportation company in the industry.
Motor Coach Driver transports passengers for trips and tours thoughout North America. It is a customer serviced oriented business, so you must be able to interact with clients, customers, and fellow drivers in a courteous manner. Prvide feedback to Operations to helpimprove service response. Perform duties and functions to help assist passengers in boarding and exiting the vehicle, load luggage underneath the luggage bay, and overhead compartments. You must be able to communicate with Operations. Inspect and vehicle for left behind items and coordinate immediate return to the customer. Must do pre trips and post trips on the vehicle before and after every trip. Maintain accurate up to date records on logs, vehicle maintenance, fuel purchses, incident and accident reports, vehicle condition that are requested by management
Provide safety breifings as required. Respond immediately to accidents and or medical emergencies by notifying emergensy response providers.
Excellent customer service skills
Read and interpret maps, road signs, and driving instructions to plan the most efficient route service for customers.
Comply with all dress codes and grooming standards provided by company.
Fuel vehicle as required.
