Remote Role

This is a remote position requiring residency within the Western United States.

JOB SUMMARY

As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will be responsible for hunting net new business within a defined set of named accounts. This role focuses on new client acquisition, strategic sales planning, and developing relationships with key decision-makers. You will be expected to execute sales strategies, achieve or exceed sales targets, and deliver solutions that align with Livingston’s full suite of trade services.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute strategic territory plans for assigned named accounts.

• Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities with prospective clients.

• Implement and manage new client onboarding, ensuring seamless internal communication.

• Build and nurture strong relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders.

• Conduct needs assessments to identify how Livingston’s solutions can solve business challenges.

• Lead contract negotiations and work cross-functionally to finalize agreements.

• Drive sales processes, including drafting and submitting Request for Proposals (RFPs).

• Maintain an active pipeline, track progress using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce.com), and provide ongoing business reviews.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure new clients receive a smooth transition and ongoing support.

• Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales goals as set by the Director of Business Development.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Strong hunting and new business development skills with a proven ability to open and close deals.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills (both verbal and written).

• Strong B2B sales and enterprise account management experience.

• Demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets in a competitive, solution-selling environment.

• High energy, self-motivated, and results-driven approach to sales.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple opportunities effectively.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce.com).

WORK EXPERIENCE – MINIMUM REQUIRED

• 5+ years of experience in new business sales, preferably in customs brokerage, logistics, or related industries.

EDUCATION

• Required: Associate’s Degree or equivalent post-secondary education.

• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.

JOB SUMMARY

The Enterprise Account Executive – Net New Business (Named Accounts) is responsible for new business development within an assigned territory. This includes but not limited to generating new business with new clients; building business relationships; executing sales strategies; meet and/or exceeds quarterly and annual sales targets and presenting ongoing business reviews on all accounts.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop strategic territory plans (within a pre-defined geographic territory) which include the identification of high to medium potential accounts.

  • Generate account shares by proactively identifying new opportunities to introduce Livingston’s services and solutions for new clients secured.

  • Implement new business and ensure proper communication among all stakeholders.

  • Establish and maintain business relationship with new clients.

  • Conduct thorough needs assessments of prospects and identify other opportunities for Livingston’s solutions.

  • Work closely with other team members to draft Request for Proposal (RFPs) and ensure clients received it by specified date.

  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms with new clients and work closely with other cross-functional departments to review, edit and finalize contracts.

  • Develop contact and strategic account plans in conjunction with other cross-functional departments.

  • Liaise with sales and other departments to ensure effective communication of new clients’ issues (e.g. pricing, solutions, financials etc.)

  • Achieve or exceed sales targets as assigned by Director, Business Development.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

  • Adhere to established policies and procedures.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written)

  • Excellent B2B sales and key account management skills

  • Demonstrated ability to be able to open and close business sales

  • Proven track record to achieve and exceed sales target goals

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and meet tight deadlines

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • High initiative, self-motivated and results oriented

  • Working knowledge of a customer relationship management (CRM) system e.g. salesforce.com

WORK EXPERIENCE – MINIMUM REQUIRED

5 years of related experience

EDUCATION

Required: Associates Degree or post-secondary education
