Job Title: Reach Forklift Operator - Afternoon
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Reach Forklift Operator for the afternoon shift. The role involves using a reach forklift for order picking, putaways, and loading and unloading products, including shell cases, pales, drums, and oil and gas supply products. This position requires operating the forklift approximately 70% of the day, while manually handling products the remaining 30%. Precision and attention to detail are crucial, as you will be handling hazardous materials weighing around 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
Operate reach forklift for order picking and putaways.
Manually handle products weighing up to 50 lbs.
Load and unload products efficiently.
Ensure accuracy and attention to detail to prevent hazards.
Use RF scanner for order picking and inventory management.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in operating a reach forklift with at least 2 years of experience.
1 year of experience in order picking within a warehouse environment.
Ability to perform continuous heavy lifting of 50 lbs.
Experience with stand-up forklifts and RF scanners.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with sit-down counterbalance forklifts.
Familiarity with double-deep picking.
Experience in a 3PL environment, especially with small teams.
