Job Title: Property Analyst - Intermediate
Location: Calgary, AB
Our client is seeking a Property Analyst - Intermediate to join their team. As a Property Analyst, you will be part of the accounting team supporting various operational units. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in production accounting, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Description:
Perform full cycle production accounting, ensuring accurate reporting of production, revenue, and royalties.
Analyze production data and reconcile items to the general ledger.
Review and implement changes due to regulatory updates and audits.
Participate in property audits and identify opportunities for improvement.
Assist operational teams with accounting and reporting tasks.
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in full cycle production accounting.
Solid experience with Alberta and Saskatchewan conventional heavy oil properties.
Strong knowledge of allocations, measurement, and audit processes.
Proficiency in Production Accounting Systems (Metrix), Petrinex, and ERP Systems (SAP).
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
