Forklift Lead
Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Forklift Lead to join our dynamic team at a building supply company. This role involves operating a forklift and working as a warehouse associate to serve a variety of customers. You will be responsible for picking and loading orders, unloading supplies, and preparing orders for the next day. This position requires both indoor and outdoor work, with significant physical activity including lifting and hand-bombing items.
Essential Skills
1 year forklift experience in a narrow environment.
Ability to lift 50lbs continuously.
1 year experience in a smaller warehouse.
1 year customer service experience.
1 year counterbalance experience with propane/electric forklifts.
AB certification for stand-up (reach and dockstocker) and sit-down forklifts.
Leadership experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience using RF scan guns.
Dockstocker experience.
Sit-down forklift experience.
Experience working for a competitor.

Work Environment
This role is based in a professional-grade building and construction distribution facility located in the SE foothills. The work environment includes two buildings and a large yard. The warehouse can be dusty due to drywall and concrete products. The role is physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly and up to 80lbs with a partner. Interaction with customers is frequent, requiring excellent multitasking and customer service skills. The shift generally runs from Monday to Friday, 6am - 5pm, with overtime possible. Reliable transportation is preferred due to the location of the facility.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
