Job Title: Accounting Analyst II

Location: Calgary, AB (Hybrid)

Our client is seeking an Accounting Analyst II to join their team. As an Accounting Analyst II, you will be part of the finance department supporting various corporate functions. The ideal candidate will have outstanding communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and excellent problem-solving skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Description:

  • Coordinate, prepare, maintain, and analyze the Corporate General Ledgers.

  • Support the accounting for the Corporate function’s monthly activities, including preparing journal entries and maintaining schedules.

  • Complete account reconciliations and analysis, identifying and implementing process improvements.

  • Respond to ad hoc queries and analysis requirements in support of financial reporting processes.

  • Work with significant independence on standard assignments while meeting tight reporting deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate Degree in Commerce, Business, or equivalent.

  • 3-5 years of accounting/finance related experience.

  • Excellent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office (Excel).

  • Outstanding oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven team player with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple project deadlines concurrently.
