Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will analyze mechanical and electrical operational problems on assigned equipment, plan and take corrective action, and perform necessary maintenance to ensure maximum production and quality. You will also review the production schedule, perform equipment changeovers, and conduct preventive maintenance checks and inspections.
Responsibilities
Analyze mechanical and electrical operational problems on assigned equipment and plan corrective action.
Make necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.
Review the production schedule and perform equipment changeovers or scheduled maintenance when equipment is not in use.
Test equipment, clear jams, set aside products for inspection and rework, and try out equipment after repairs or changeovers.
Conduct preventive maintenance checks and inspections of assigned equipment, report findings to the supervisor, and take appropriate action.
Work closely with production staff to ensure the safety of all employees and products.
Notify the maintenance department or supervisors of recurring equipment malfunctions, corrective actions taken, and any quality problems or supplies needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Maintenance technician experience
Proficiency in pneumatics and preventive maintenance
PLC troubleshooting
Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
Hydraulics knowledge
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Strong schematic reading proficiency and mechanical aptitude
Ability to follow directions well and work independently within a team environment
High attention to detail and ability to work quickly and methodically
Strong work ethic and organizational skills
Ability to work in a safe manner
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Willingness to work overtime, nights, and/or weekends as needed

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Caldwell, Idaho.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $29.00/hr.
