Description
DESCRIPTIONS:
Must be capable of performing the essential functions of various electrical/electronic tasks
Must understand the process flow of electrical/electronic functions. This includes but is not limited to the equipment on Slaughter, Rendering, Boiler & Engine room, Fabrication, Freezer, Material Handling and Ground Beef.
Understands the workings of diagnostic equipment (oscilloscope, megger, volt meter and Amp probes).
Must have the ability to apply emphasis to major functions of equipment in area of responsibility this includes but is not limited to:
All functions of primary and secondary product scales
Metal detectors
Side pullers
Down pullers
K-pac’s
Cryovacs
Product testing equipment
All plant Program Logic Controllers
All primary and Secondary functions of the electrical power in facility
All equipment associated to electrical/electronic area that are assigned by peers
Must be able to understand and draw electrical/electronic schematics and use these schematics and plant schematics as troubleshooting guides.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively, both verbal & written.
Oversight of plant's electrical systems. Supervise personnel. Lead and coordinate projects including safety and budget.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists in the day to day operations of the Electrical/Electronic department as needed for general up keep and maintenance of plant operations. This includes but is not limited to the assistance of all areas of the plant, insuring all aspects of the operation are being adhered to as required by safety and company policies. Candidate must have a working knowledge of the Electrical/Electronic field with emphasis on electrical/electronic troubleshooting, installation of new equipment, repairs, and upkeep of existing equipment
