ManpowerGroup Production Line Lead - 2nd/3rd shift in Byron Center, Michigan

Our client, a leading food manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Production Lead to join their team. As a Production Lead, you will be part of the Production department supporting their packaging operations. The ideal candidate will be a team player, have good communication skills and be reliable, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Line Lead

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Pay Range: $21-$22/hr.

Shifts: 2nd & 3rd shift

What’s the Job?

  • Order fulfillment, packaging, quality assurance

  • Weighing and scaling materials

  • SAP use for inventory reconciliation

  • Monitoring the production line

  • Meet line KPI's around line speed standards, production output standards.

  • Manage all machine operators, hilo drivers and general labor on the lines.

What’s Needed?

  • 6 months - 1 year of Production and/or Warehouse experience, preferably in food production.

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and to stand for long periods of time.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Have reliable transportation and be willing to work 7 days a week.

  • Understanding of GMP's, PPE and KPI's to meet client demand and to ensure all safety procedures are followed.

  • Ability to work with and lead a team of multicultural associates who speak many languages.
