This Position is for a Maintenance Technician with a company located in Byhalia.
Job Summary: Performs routine maintenance and installation duties as well as maintenance duties associated with CNC / PLC controls and electrically powered motor and motor control circuits. Develops and applies basic knowledge and skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment needed for the position. Focused on a limited range of activities
Responsibilities and Duties: Has solid working knowledge and skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment needed for the position. Expanding technical skills and range of operational knowledge. Follows standard procedures to complete tasks, some of which may vary in scope, sequence, complexity and timing. Applies skills and knowledge to increase efficiency, throughput and quality. Ability to do set ups, if applicable. Identifies and solves moderately complex problems. Makes decisions that require choosing from limited options. Deviations from standard procedures are referred to the supervisor. Troubleshoots maintenance issues with assistance. Contributes to team and project success by sharing previously acquired knowledge. Collaborates typically within own cross-functional work unit and occasionally with contacts outside own unit or department. General supervision given for routine work and detailed instructions given for new assignments.
Education and Qualifications: High School or equivalent with 5 years related experience &/or Certification in assigned area, as required. Welding experience.
