This is a job for a Amplify Cell Tech - Accounts Payable Supervisor position with a company located in Byhalia, MS.

Job Summary: The Accounts Payable Supervisor's role involves close interaction with all the departments within the organization. The Accounts Payable Supervisor will utilize his/her skills sets to work directly with suppliers maintaining positive relationships, manage the daily activities of the accounts payable and implement best practices as part of a collaborative team. The Accounts Payable Supervisor will interact directly with the different departments and local and foreign suppliers.  This is a unique opportunity to establish best practices processes in a fast-paced start up environment!

NOTE: The successful candidate for this position will initially be hired as a Daimler Truck North America employee and subsequently transition to the joint venture (JV) organization structure and benefits, contingent upon customary closing conditions and receipt of applicable merger control and regulatory approvals. The benefits under the joint venture may differ slightly from those provided by DTNA.

Responsibilities: Manage the timely processing and payment of vendor invoices. Manage the daily activities of the Accounts Payable team. Prepare month-end close process for accounts payable. Prepare monthly journal entries and related general ledger account reconciliations. Perform internal control process reviews as assigned. Support budgeting and monthly accounts payable forecast. Perform aging and variance analysis for accounts payable and spending. Perform research andanswer vendors questions and issues resolution. Provide accounting support to Supply Chain and Operations. Provide support for Tax schedules. Initiate process improvements and assist with special projects.

Qualifications: BS/BA Accounting Degree. Understanding of USGAAP. 5+ years of relevant accounting experience. SAP Experience desired. Supervisory experience. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Research and problem-solving skills. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills. Strong computer skills and proficiency in Excel. Data Analytic software experience desirable. Strong organizational skills required to manage various projects. Deadline-driven and self-motivated. Develop KPI's for account payables.
