Role: Material Planner
Salary: £Competitive
Location: Burton on Trent, Staffordshire, (DE13 8EN) – (Onsite)
Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 16:00pm and Friday 07:30am to 12:30pm, 37 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
What you will be doing…
Coordinate planning and control of supplier orders, schedules, and forecasts.
Manage materials and support engineering change, project/program launch and run out with minimal business impact.
Generate and control supplier performance to achieve key performance indicators.
Manage component availability issues, escalate, and communicate effectively to ensure closure and eliminate reoccurrence.
Review forecast material requirements, report supply chain concerns/ability to meet customer orders, and implement inventory optimisation strategies.
Deliver supply chain solutions in project teams, undertake other material planner activities as instructed, and maintain health and safety practices.
Are you an individual with the following?
Previous experience within a Planning role is desirable
Able to work autonomously with strong planning and organisational skills
Good problem-solving/negotiation skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to present information to all levels
IT literate
