Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Job Description
Join our team as a Parts Runner, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the assembly line operates smoothly and efficiently. This position involves picking and replenishing parts throughout the warehouse and delivering them to the assembly team. This is a one-year contract position with the potential to extend and transition to a permanent role.
Work Environment
The work environment is bright and clean, but can get very hot indoors during summer, reaching temperatures up to 35 degrees. Fans are provided for cooling, and the space can be noisy due to power tools. Personal protective equipment, including steel-toe work boots, is required, along with pants and long-sleeve shirts. The warehouse operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. A team of six people works in the warehouse, with three people part of this specific team.
Responsibilities
Hand-pick parts from various areas of the warehouse.
Deliver parts to the assembly team and replenish the production line.
Perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and pulling carts.
Walk extensively throughout the warehouse to pick components as per the list provided by the Team Lead.
Adhere to proper lifting techniques to ensure safety.
Essential Skills
Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
Good English communication skills for safety purposes.
Basic computer skills for looking up parts and navigating systems.
High attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in a role requiring attention to detail.
Experience in a Lean manufacturing environment.
3-6 months of experience in a warehouse or picking role.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
