Insight Global Machine Learning Engineer in Burnaby, British Columbia
Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join a large organization remotely in Montreal. This person will be joining a line of business that is a shared service supporting multiple groups. The candidate will be working closely with Data Scientists to understand their algorithm and ensure that the code base is production ready and compatible with cloud for AI/ML technologies. They will also be implementing the pipeline. The ideal candidate would have a strong understanding of ML fundamentals and is able to work efficiently in a team.

Skills and Requirements
4+ years experience as a Machine Learning Engineer
Proficient in Python
Familiar with ML libraries (ex. Tensorflow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn etc), an understanding of deep learning, and experience developing these models themselves
Experience with one of the following cloud platforms: AWS SageMaker or GCP VertexAI
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes Terraform
Experience with Airflow
Experience working with CI/CD practices (Gitlab, Github, Jenkins) and in Agile environments
Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to collaborate with others well, team player, initiative taker C# or C+Azure or Databricks experience
Experience with recommendations or matchmaking engines null
