Posting Summary
Provide operational oversight and perform experiments and small animal surgeries related to studies of acute brain injury. Oversee, interact and train others on protocols and procedures relating to experiments to study acute brain injury.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor’s degree in biology or related area and at least 4-6 years experience working in biomedical laboratory. Experience working with small animals using surgical skills including in vitro complex experimental procedures relating to brain injury or vascular function required.
Desirable Qualifications
Anticipated Pay Range $25 to $32/hour

Special Conditions Contingent on continued funding, Bargaining unit position, A probationary period may be required
FLSA Non-Exempt
Union Position Yes, UVMSU ($20 minimum hourly rate)
