Job Overview:
Financial Analyst – Innovation & Capital Planning
Status: Permanent Full-time
Location: 7260 Saint-Urbain, Montreal or 53 South Ave, Burlington
Model: 3 days on-site and as needed.
The Analyst in his capacity as a key member of the Finance team is primarily and actively collaborating to the tracking, consolidation and governance for Innovation and CAPEX. He contributes to the improvement of Capital processes and uses of technology to improve all financial analysis and forecast accuracy. Also, he is responsible for providing value added information to his business partners to support business decisions. He will report to the Finance Director – Capital Planning.
Responsibilities :
Strategic 2 0 %
Participates in the development and implementation of financial tools/system initiatives by providing value added input with respect to all Capital Planning and Innovation matters and ensuring that changes in systems and business processes are integrated into ongoing activities.
Elaborates, structures, monitors and provides recommendations maximizing the effectiveness and efficiency of the FP&A systems and business processes supporting the financial activities.
Assists the Finance Director – Capital Planning on other activities relating to special assignments.
Actively participates in the continuous improvement program.
Participates in different presentations to management.

Participates in the development and implementation of one KDP Innovation tracker tool.
Support monthly Innovation and CAPEXreporting in order tofacilitate financial projections and provide value added financial knowledge.
Building financial summary for presentations purposes tosenior leadership.
Participates in the development and assumptions for the CAPEX annual operating plan (AOP) and quarterly forecast.
Upgrades, automates and improves reporting and analytical tools.
Leadership 5%
Responsible for completing yearly objectives and quarterly assessment.
Coordinate efforts for keeping position description up to date.
Responsible for completing yearly performance assessment.
Act as a leader with his/her team
Is a reference for systems knowledge
Qualifications :
Bachelor degree in finance or accounting.
2-5 years of experience in finance, budgeting and forecast
General knowledge of accounting and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods, Food or Retail sectors (an asset).
Knowledge of Planning Analytics and SAP (an asset)

Advanced knowledge and proficiency of MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and SAP.
