We are seeking full time and part time Rad Technologists at a full-service, outpatient radiology and imaging center serving Buffalo and the entire Western New York region. We are seeking a highly motivated, eager professional Xray Technologists to perform a wide variety of technical procedures across multi- modalities (Xray, Carm, CT, Dexa). The ideal candidate can work in a fast-paced environment, and be capable of working independently as well as with a team. The full-time position candidate will be eligible for benefits including; all major Holidays off, PTO, 401K, and health insurance options.
Responsibilities
Prepares room and patient per order
Perform all procedures, CR and DR x-ray procedures, Bone Density
Assists Interventional Radiology procedures under CARM guidance
Properly sets up equipment, position patients, and determine proper exposure factors in order to produce a high quality image.
Observes each patient’s status and interprets the appropriate information needed such as medical history, symptoms and explanation of procedures with associated documentation
Maintains/restocks appropriate supplies in XR and CARM rooms and maintains a list of things to be ordered
Produces a diagnostic, high quality image for interpretation by the Radiologist
Handles all radiologic equipment safely and properly
Safely transfers patients to and from imaging tables using assistive devices as necessary
Maintains accurate patient record keeping in EMR and by properly identifying images and assuring images are sent to the PACS system correctly.
Communicates effectively with Radiologists.
Completes and bills for studies accurately and in a timely fashion
Helps fellow technologists when not busy with XR/CARM specific duties

Essential Skills
Operates standard imaging equipment including but not limited to: XRAY & CARM and CT Equipment
PC Computer PACS/RIS/EMR Computer
Additional Skills & Qualifications
AAS - Associate of Applied Science - Radiologic Technology or graduate of an approved ARRT Certification program in Radiologic Technology required.
NYS licensure and ARRT certification
Multi Modality experience such as CT, MRI & Mammo is preferred.
Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, pull and twist for an extended period of time
Knowledge of applicable patient positioning and technique selections for modality
Lifting objects as required.
Excellent customer service skills with ability to professionally communicate orally and in the written form
Ability to work flexible hours, additional hours as needed
Work Environment
On site in Buffalo, NY
Both Part time and Full time positions available, as well as several different shifts
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $33.00/hr.
