Developing high quality SW in Java, C++, Go, Python, and we are using technologies like Redis, Cassandra, Kafka, Docker, K8s, and many others.
Committed to open source and contributing back to the community.
Writing testable software every day, with a focus on incremental innovation.
You have:
Minimum of 3+ years software engineering work experience on large scale software development and deployment experience.
BA/BS in Computer Science from an accredited university
Strong programming skills in Java and/or C++ Experience with distributed systems (Redis is preferred, but Cassandra or similar is a strong plus as well)
Experience in a Linux environment
Experience with cloud deployment technology (Docker, K8s, Ansible, Terraform, etc.) is also a plus.
Agile development skills.
Ability and interest to learn other coding languages as needed (like Python/Go).

Our hybrid work model
BlackRock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all. Employees are currently required to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week. Some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities.
