Moreover, People Services teams are working closely with People & Culture, Legal, Digital Services, Coe Business Partners, Workplace Experience, Purchases & Invoice, Payroll Partners and People Services front line teams in local countries and regions.
With respect to People Services (PS) operations in the Budapest Hub, the following areas are covered on a European or Global scale
People Life Cycle Management
Knowledge Base Management and Employee Query Handling
External Workforce Management
Global Learning Services
Quality, Performance, Employee Master Data & Reporting
Mobility Services
Reporting to the People Services Manager for IPT&LFH, you will be acting as a key contact on mobility processes for employees at all levels, providing expertise on a wide range of topics, such as relocation, immigration, stakeholder management, HR tools etc. & support the employees throughout their journey at Sanofi.
Within your role and your area of expertise, you will be in the driver seat to propose process changes, improvement initiatives and participate in the shaping of an efficient, innovative, and future-ready organization.
Please note, this is a maternity cover, therefore it’s a fixed term role until 07/2027
Main responsibilities
Coordinate and monitor the E2E (end to end) international permanent transfer (IPT) and local foreign hire activity (LFH) in the defined geographies as responsible of this activity acting as a project manager
Pilot actively the relationship with a wide range of stakeholders (employees, People and Culture, People Services captive and local, dedicated vendors, legal representatives)
Monitor and track the work permit expirations and conduct necessary actions with relevant providers
Monitor, track and register the end-to-end life of the cases (tracker)
Identify, address operational issues/gaps and follow through to resolution in an effective and timely manner
Help ensure knowledge databases (DTP, manual, articles…) are updated; knowledge transfer occurs up/down streams
Monitor operational KPIs and compliance with Sanofi policies and guidelines including GDPR
Provide Level 2 support for these sub-processes /Manage direct queries from employees via ticket and propose expertise
Contribute to projects related to IPT & LFH
Drive continuous improvement proactively making proposals in relation to development of processes in his/her scope
Participate in training/meeting to share info/knowledge with users/stakeholders
Focus on employee experience
As a Generalist, you will also
Monitor data quality and identify potential issues and take pro-active measures
Prepare periodic reporting and ad-hoc reports
Take part in projects, ensuring necessary support is provided as agreed during the project planning
Assist in the transition of processes by working closely with the local colleagues and providing necessary support to ensure smooth knowledge transfer
Have strong understanding of and master in-scope processes in given supported area
Keep up to date with supported region’s employment laws and ensure organizational compliance
Work closely with other departments to align HR initiatives with business needs
Support audit requests when required
Identify issues, analyze root causes, propose and implement improvement actions
Update country manual, work instructions and SOPs as new cases and information may arise
About you
Experience
Graduate or master’s degree with HR / business administration or equivalent previous experience
Strong English language knowledge (min. B2-C1) is a must & knowledge of other European language is welcome
First hands on experience in a HR Services role preferably in an international multicultural environment
Soft and technical skills
Broad understanding on HR processes (advantageous)
Awareness of data privacy rules (GDPR etc.)
Strong problem solving, deductive and analytical skills
Relevant experience in global mobility management
Proficient knowledge on statutory and legal regulations is required
Computer literate and familiar with HR / Human Capital Management related tools & systems as e.g. Workday & ServiceNow (advantageous), Assignment Pro
Knowledge of Microsoft Office with advance level proficiency in Excel (essential) undefined
Self-motivated & result-driven, with a strong ambition and commitment to delivering high quality services
Strong customer centricity & ability to interact with internal and external clients in a professional manner
Team player, able to work collaboratively transversally and with HR front line teams with an end-to-end mindset
Organized and structured to efficiently manage priorities and workflow
Attentive to detail and works with precision
Education
- Graduate or master’s degree with HR / business administration or equivalent previous experience
Languages
- Fluent in English is a must & knowledge of other European language is welcome
