As a Learning and Development Specialist , you would develop, design, and deliver a variety of learning interventions to ICON employees.

Location : Office Hybrid in Dublin, Warsaw, Budapest or other locations within Europe.

In this role, you will:

• Develop, revise, deliver, document and coordinate a variety of Instructor led-training (ILT), online-learning (OLL) or on-the-job training (OTJ) as assigned.

• Utilize the learning management system to lead Instructor led-training (ILT) events, including scheduling, handling registrations, updating roster reports and entering completion status.

• Review internal and external training compliance reports and follow up internally and externally with management as necessary.

• Identify learning objectives and develop training content and practical activities for internal and external customers, working from assigned brief.

• Deliver the full range of training programmes in the functional area and train new trainers in the delivery of these programmes.

• Evaluate and assess effectiveness and quality of assigned training materials, content and delivery methods and actively recommend enhancements.

• Provide support for external and internal audits and/or client requests for training history documentation and learning plans, as assigned. Represent IU at internal and external audits.

• Look for and share with the team opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and training programmes.

• Travel may be required (approximately 20 - 50%) domestic and/or international.

• Mentor and train new ICON University team members as assigned.

• Handle and or Support ICON University learning initiatives as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of operational and learning & development experience in at least one of the following areas:

• Clinical Operations;

• Data Management;

• Interactive Technologies;

• Learning & Development;

• Project Management;

• Software/business systems training;

• Other operational functional areas as needed.

• Experience in delivering trainings in Clinical Research Associate (CRA) space.

• Knowledge and experience navigating the following systems: Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS), Trial Master File (TMF) and Electronic Data Capture (EDC).

• Demonstrable ability to design and develop self-paced online learning content.

• Demonstrates ICON Core proficiencies.

• Prior experience conducting presentations or facilitating training in English.

• Fluent in English (written and oral).

• Ability to work effectively and efficiently on global networked computers using current software applications.

• Demonstrates a strong team player attitude and flexibility.
