Morgan Stanley FIX Client Onboarding Integrator in Budapest, Hungary

The FIX Client Connectivity team is responsible for the client on boarding and support of all electronic trading clients at MS. Working directly with Clients, software vendors and various multi-asset business teams, the FIX Engineer team is the first point of call for all clients on boarding and FIX connection maintenance, providing 24/5 follow the sun support through teams in Singapore, New York and the UK.

You will:

  • Prioritize new client on boarding with MSET Sales and Cash Equity/Listed Derivative Sales Desk.
  • Liaise with Clients as consultants on their connectivity/IT needs.
  • Manage certifications of client and vendor FIX connections to ensure quality connectivity and system integration.
  • Working closely with Front Office MS trading desks and Middle Office to ensure we meet their clients needs.
  • Design, test and implement routing logic for optimal and efficient order routing.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to systems and tools.
  • Work with Development teams for any client related bugs and enhancements.

  • Thorough understanding and working knowledge of messaging protocols SQL and UNIX knowledge.
  • Proven experience working with internal and external client support teams
  • Basic understanding of Networks and Connectivity.
  • Able to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and under pressure

You might also have:

  • Knowledge of Third Party Network and OMS software Vendors. (eg, Aladdin, FLEXTRADE,Fidessa(ION), NYFIX, Bloomberg, Tradingscreen, ITG, EzeCastle, Broadridge etc..)
  • Equity Trading knowledge
  • Futures Trading knowledge
  • Background in Trading support environment
  • Experience in FIX (Financial Information eXchange)protocol
