· Monitor and reconcile the Firm’s books and records and work together with a broader team to make sure that those are correct

· Provide detailed analyses on monthly, quarterly and yearly expense variances, define main drivers

· Create value-add analytics on revenues, expenses, and other performance metrics.

· Develop an understanding of Morgan Stanley's product lines and structure in order to answer ad-hoc queries

· Understand various calculations and complex data flows into systems, while looking to enhance current processes through automation and optimization

You have: · Bachelor's or Master’s degree or equivalent in Finance/Accounting or related field with 2 years of experience · Advanced Microsoft Excel skills · Strong communication skills - ability to communicate effectively across all levels · Good time management skills with an ability to prioritize competing tasks and meet demanding deadlines * * You may also have (not required): · Familiarity with VBA / SQL / Alteryx or experience with BI reporting and data visualization tools - such as Tableau, Cognos

/MS Hungary’s Finance function is part of Morgan Stanley’ global Finance division (“Finance”). MS Hungary Finance consists of the following: Business Unit Controllers for Institutional Securities Group (ISG), Wealth Management (WM) and Investment Management (IM), Corporate Treasury, Valuation Control (VC) and the Financial Shared services (FSS) group which involves the Global Corporate Controllers (GCC), Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Third Party Program Management (TPPM), Tax, Legal Entity Control and Finance Shared Services./ /Overall, across the various finance functions, MS Hungary maintains the Firm’s books and records, performs financial planning, global accounting and control, corporate treasury and tax functions, and delivers financial information to support business decisions and manage risk, along with management reporting of financial information, business recovery and resolution activities and application of accounting policies/ / / / / Interested in flexible working opportunities?
